BIFE stands for Basic introduction to facade engineering, literally introducing facade engineering at a very basic level. It is a document made to introduce the field of facade engineering in Korea, where facade engineers do not often participate unless the project is big. As a result, the region is quite unfamiliar even to architecture students or people working in the architecture industry.
Currently working as a junior facade engineer, it is written based on personal experiences and thoughts, dealing lightly about facade and facade engineering. The biggest goal of this document is to be easily understood.
Originally PPT documents were uploaded at slide share; however, through this blog, it will be published by each chapter.
